Interpreting Ethereum as a Metaverse(φ, φ)
Summary
- Phi is a Metaverse that interprets the entire Ethereum ecosystem as a single Metaverse.
- Phi is composed of two components: "Philand" (Lands on φ) and “Phiobject" (Buildings on φ Land).
- In φ, the virtual land of the world on Ethereum is defined by the ENS address system, and we call the lands “φLand”.
- Buildings and monuments on φland are represented by NFTs, which we call "φObjects".
- φObjects can be claimed based on the on-chain activity data in the Wallet.
- All artworks on φ are in the public domain.
- φ is created around “φprotocol”, and φprotocol is operated by “φDAO”.
Main Feature
1. φLand
- φLand refers to the lands on φ, which is defined by the user's ENS.
- φLand is nearly infinite in size and has XY coordinates.
- You can own a φLand by deciding where to place your ENS on each grid point, and linking the coordinates to your ENS.
e.g.) Associate the coordinate (123, 456) with vitalik.eth.
- The land defined on the grid point is further divided into 16*16 parcels.
- One φObject can be placed on each of the 16*16 parcels, and the information about which φObject is placed on which parcel is recorded as on-chain data.
- When an ENS is transferred to another person, the φLand associated with that ENS is also transferred at the same time. This is because we believe that once an ENS is associated with a coordinate, the ENS itself represents the land. This idea also allows any ENS owner to participate in the platform without paying a special fee.
